Bantam Rep - Great showing at Silver Stick
Wow what a showing at the Silver Stick in Wasaga Beach for our Bantam Rep Team.
Game one had the team face Wasaga Beach and despite 2 losses in the Regular Season our guys dominated the game and celebrated a 4-0 victory. Later in the day the boys faced Manitoulin for game 2 and once again celebrated a victory with a score of 5-0!
Game 3 on Friday where we faced Penetang and once again the streak continued with a 4-1 win.
The championship game was played vs Wasaga Beach who took an early lead in the first, soon to be matched. These two teams are very evenly matched and at the end of 45 minutes of play were tied 2-2. A 10 minute OT period was played and with 37 seconds remaining the Wasaga team scored. Coach Jamie Gallacher has done a great job of leading these boys and bringing them together as a team and no doubt is most proud of the team.
