Golf Tournament Proceeds To Support Oro Minor Hockey- Jack McCullough 8th Annual
The 8th Annual Jack McCullough Golf Tournament, which was held on September
7th was a great success. It is held in memory of Jack McCullough and
this tournament brought together golf enthusiasts for a day filled with
camaraderie, laughter, and support for a great cause.
The tournament raised an impressive $3,000.00 (approx.) and the proceeds
from this event will go towards supporting Oro Minor Hockey, making a
positive impact in our hockey community.
Sincere gratitude needs to go out to:
Settlers Ghost Golf Club for hosting the tournament, it was a picturesque backdrop for this year's tournament. With its lush greens and breathtaking views, it was the perfect setting to showcase golfing skills while enjoying the company of fellow members of our organization.
The support of Chris Alarie, Rod McLeod, James Nightingale and Chris Hawrelak for their generous donations.
And the biggest thanks of all need to go out to Scott and LeAnn Bjaanes for organizing the tournament. The amount of work that goes into this one day is extraordinary. It is countless hours of planning, arranging, soliciting donations, and hard work. Oro Hockey is so grateful for your generosity with your time and it is truly appreciated and always noticed as to how much you have helped Oro Hockey throughout the years.
Also, a shoutout to the McCullough Family, this tournament is put together with love and remembrance for Jack. Jack played hockey in Oro for much of his life, making great friends and learning the value of teamwork. He would be proud to know that he was a part of helping other kids to be given the chance to play hockey and to have these same opportunities.
