Update - Oro Hockey in the Red Zone
Please see the message below from Scott Bjaanes, Oro Minor Hockey Association President.

Oro Families,

On behalf of the Oro Minor Hockey Executive, I am following up on the communication send Friday, December 11th regarding Simcoe-Muskoka entering the Red Zone.

The health and safety of our members and their families is our top priority.  As a result we feel the best thing we can do at this time is “pause” the hockey season effective immediately.

This season has not been without challenge, but because of the great volunteers and the understanding of our members, we have been able to deliver a safe and enjoyable program.  For this we would like to thank all the players, coaches, referees and families for their support.

During this pause, the Oro MHA Executive is going to focus our efforts on reviewing options for a possible safe return to hockey.  We continue to work closely with the Township of Oro Medonte and will do our best to keep you informed as new information comes available.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all Oro Thunder families a safe, healthy Christmas and all the best in 2021!

Regards,

Scott Bjaanes
President
Oro MHA
