Novice LL wins C championship in Creemore March Break Tourney
On Tueday March 13th the Novice LL travelled to Creemore to particpate in the Annual Novice Tournament.
The Thunder lost the first game by one goal despite dominating the Schomberg team.
In game 2 the Thunder again dominated, this time they prevailed with a 4-0 victory.
In the C championship, the Oro boys and girls won a tight 1-0 game. The Beeton team was one of the quickest teams they had faced all year. The Thunder tightened up the neutral zone and used a aggressive forecheck to keep the speed of Beeton neutralized.
Congratulations to the Novice team who wrapped up their tournament season with 6 great games over 2 days.
In the six games all the players contributed at both ends of the ice.
The team is hard at work preparing for the Novice LL A championship series which gets underway this week.
