NOVICE LL1: RED AND WHITE DYNAMITE !
Novice LL1 punctuated a terrific season with an overtime victory to win the Georgian Bay Novice Local League title. In game 5 of a tough fought series with a talented Stayner team, Jacob N was a game saver between the pipes! With three minutes to go Sullivan M tied the game at one with a "top shelf" shot. A couple of minutes into overtime Owen L went five hole for the winner, capping off a game in which Oro dominated at both ends of the ice!
Alex L assisted on both goals with Sean D, Xavier N and Zachary N providing terrific two way pressure for the entire game. As usual Cassie D, Caelan G, Kieth G and Cole H were terrific on defense.
Congratulations to Oro LL1 on a season which included the best record in the league, winning the Durham and Wasaga Beach tournaments, and capturing the GB Local League Championship. Your coaches and parents are extremely proud of all of you.
