The Spirit of Christmas
In the spirit of the season, Atom 1 came together to do some good for others who are less fortunate. It is easy to lose sight of what we have as life is busy and demanding and often times we are looking at what we don't have, rather than gratitude for what we do have.
We thought it was important to show our children that giving back is part of being a good community member and it feels pretty great too! So we sponsored a local family for Christmas through the Barrie Women and Children's Shelter. As a team we raised enough money to sponsor a family of three, Mom and two little girls, ages 3 and 7. Donations of bags of beauty products were even given to us from Shoppers Drugmart as well, and everything has now successfully reached them.
