New Trainer Kits
As we are about to move into playoff season we would like take a moment to thank Paul from Holly Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for providing our new trainer kits that all of our teams have been using this season.
Trainer’s Kits  are an essential tool for hockey teams you hope you never use.

Holly Physiotherapy wishes everyone a safe and fun-filled season and is proud of the courageous volunteers we call “Trainers” for their dedication and strength to assess and protect our kids in the game we all love.

Paul Mieschke, physiotherapist and owner of Holly Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation is a trainer and hockey parent in our Association and is proud to present Trainer’s Kits for our Oro Minor Hockey Teams.  The role of the trainer is more than just warm-ups and a pat on the shoulder when the player gets back up from a fall.  The trainer ensures the safety of players both on and off the ice and prepares for potential injuries to players by monitoring medical logs and planning emergency action plans in the event an incident occurs.  If the injury is more serious, medical attention from someone with the highest possible level of first aid/medical expertise will be administered.

The trainer is someone who can stay calm and assess the situation while not taking on more than they can handle.  A good trainer’s kit will have bandages, gloves, ice packs, medical tape, gauze and repair items to fix equipment on the fly.  The kits provided contain an assortment of these items including documentation material to record injuries as they occur.
