Hello Thunder Families, Registration is now open for Oro Resdents (will open June 15th for all addresses). Please note that any emails that need to be sent to confirm your registration will be sent to the email address that have have registered with in the Hockey Canada (HCR) website. We are pleased to advise that we will be opening registration on June 1st for players that are Oro Residents for the first 2 weeks and on June 15th we will open registration for all players regardless of address.

Hello Thunder Families, We are pleased to advise that the Post Secondary Bursary is once again being offered through an application process to our graduating players.

We are currently accepting Coach Applications for the 2025-26 season. If you are interested in coaching next season, please complete the online application which can be found here:  2025/26 Coaching Application. We have extended the date for coaching applications until May 25th, 2025. Coaches selected will be interviewed in June for both Rep and LL. Successful candidates (Coaches) will be announced for Rep and LL no later than June 30th, 2025.

Hello Thunder Families, A reminder that the Oro Minor Hockey Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday April 27th at 7:00 pm in the Banquet Room at the Oro Arena. Registration on the website is requested to attend the meeting. We would like to invite all members of our Association to attend and recap the 2024/25 season and to ask questions or share concerns and new ideas.

Dave Gillespie was born and raised in Oro Station. He grew up playing Oro Minor Hockey and played on the Oro 77's. We as an Association are saddened to hear of his passing. Hockey was a life long passion for Dave. We are working on some ideas to memorialize Dave in our arena and we are planning to present this when our season starts in the fall.
