The boys delivered an early Christmas present with a hard fought win against Elmvale on Sunday.
The team worked hard at Saturdays practice focusing on positional play and it paid off despite a short bench with only 8 skaters.
Ayden had an excellent game and opened the scoring in the first period with a breakaway goal. Elmvale came back with 2 goals to take the lead before Aydenanswered with his second goal of the game to tie the score heading into the 3rdperiod.
The teams battled back and forth in the 3rd with Connor, taking his turn in net, making some keys saves and getting lots of help from the strong defensive play of Nick, Sam and Brett. Late in the period it was Noah breaking the deadlock with a great individual effort.
it was a great way to start the holidays and everyone is excited for the tournament.
