Oro U13LL2 Innisfil Winterhawks Winter Classic Tournament Win
The Oro Thunder U13LL2 team won the Innisfil Winterhawks Winter Classic Tournament this past weekend, Feb. 25, 2024.
The team suffered their first loss of the season in their opening game but picked up their socks and persevered to win their next 3 games to earn a rematch in the championship final game against the team that beat them in that opening game. The final was a back and forth game, but Oro held it out to win the game 4-3 taking home their 2nd tournament win trophy this season, to add to the awesomely super successful season Oro Minor Hockey is having overall! Congrats to the players on another big win and well done for their great behavior and sportsmanship on and off the ice. Go Thunder!
