PARENTS, PLEASE READ ALL - ACTION REQUIRED
PLEASE READ ALL AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS TO LINK PROVIDED
All registered players and team staff must each complete the review of information and acknowledgement as a result of the implementation of Rowan's Law on July 1, 2019. Oro Minor Hockey must have a record of all participants to be rostered in order receive approval of the official team roster. Teams are required to have an official team roster prior to playing their first scheduled league game or attendance at a tournament.
We have posted further details, links to the age specific materials and a link to the Acknowledgement Form for those to be rostered with Oro Minor Hockey on our website.

Please ensure that you compete this on behalf of each child you have registered with Oro Minor Hockey immediately as teams cannot be rostered for league or tournament games until all players and staff have completed. For example, if you have 2 players registered to participant in Oro Minor Hockey, an atom and a bantam, and Dad is a trainer on the bantam team, you must complete three (3) separate Acknowledgements. Failure to complete the Rowans Law Acknowledgement will mean that the player/team staff member will not be rostered and will not be allowed to participate in hockey activities.
Oro Minor Hockey has the honoured privilege of working with Dr. Shannon Bauman, a leading expert in concussions. We take concussion education seriously and continue to thank Dr. Bauman for her guidance and service to our hockey community in this regard. Parents are welcome to attend at our Trainers Meeting scheduled for 7 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, to learn more about concussions and player safety.
