Oro Minor Hockey is preparing for the 2017-18 hockey season and we would like your coaching application! We are recruiting coaches at this time, until March 31st. Come and join our IP (Initiation Program) through to Midget divisions. Oro Minor Hockey and families of registering players thank you for putting your name forward.
We welcome NEW coaches. If you have questions about whether you can coach or not, please refer to the chart below for the appropriate qualifications needed and contact names and numbers. With prior approval, Oro Minor Hockey will reimburse the course cost once completed.
Note: if you are unsure
of what team to apply your coaching application for, please note that Oro Minor Hockey association will assist with this matter. The team in which you can coach is dependent on many factors. The coaching committee
will offer you a team if you are selected as a coach.
Oro Minor Hockey relies solely on volunteers like you to help our youth learn the great game of hockey. Minor hockey is a fantastic vehicle for teaching our children valuable life skills.
While the volunteer commitment may seem large in terms of police checks and certifications, they are necessary to ensure that Oro Minor Hockey players learn the game of hockey in a safe and positive atmosphere. If selected, you will be joining a strong, supportive group of volunteers, as well as reaping the rewards of seeing children grow and develop.
