Oro Thunder Minor Hockey

Hello Thunder Families, We are looking to fill the role of Secretary Minor hockey needs committed and energetic volunteers to help our organization run. If you are looking for a way to get involved and support our organization, then this is a great opportunity.

Unfortunately we have to announce that we are unable to roster a U18 Rep Team.   We had concerns last winter that we did not have enough qualified players with Rep experience to roster a full Rep team. We put out a survey to the U18 age players to gauge interest, we held a special board meeting to fully discuss the possibility and strategize, and we held a meeting with the parents of the players that expressed interest in playing on the Rep team.

Hello Oro Minor Hockey Community,   For decades, Oro Minor Hockey has proudly partnered with the Oro World Fair. Traditionally, we’ve operated a food and drink booth, but this year, we’re excited to take on a new role! Oro Minor Hockey will be assisting with the parking operations at the fair this year.

****Mouth Guard Clinic Is Now Full **** We are pleased to advise that we have arranged a custom mouth guard clinic with a dental hygienist sat the Oro arena (Lobby) on Sunday September 8th at 2:00 pm.   Fittings are by appointment. Hockey is a fast paced sport played with a rubber puck and sticks. In order to keep every player safe, you must wear proper equipment while on the ice. This equipment is required at all practices as well as games.
