Are you interested in becoming a referee? There is no better time to sign up then this upcoming season! In little over a day of training, you can be on the ice officiating the game you love!
Below are the minimum requirements to become an Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) referee:
- Must be 14 years of age or older as of December 31, 2022
- Those 18 years of age and older must submit an acceptable Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Completion of the online Hockey University 1/2 course
- Completion of the online Respect in Sports
- Officials Course Completion of an in-person OMHA entry level clinic including Hockey Canada exam
OMHA Entry Level Referee Clinics will be posted via the below link. Search Ontario Hockey Federation and Ontario Minor Hockey Association for the appropriate OMHA clinic near you!
