Congrats to our U15 LL, U13 LL2, and U11 LL2 Teams
Huge congrats to our three, yes THREE teams who won their tournaments this past weekend.U15 LL - Tournament Champions, Orr Lake Hat Trick Tournament
'The U15LL team were victorious in the Elmvale Orr Lake Hat Trick tournament. The team went undefeated in all the games thanks to excellent goaltending and unselfish teamwork. Even though the team did have some questionable pump up music which featured Christmas Carols to get them motivated! Thanks to the coaches, parents and especially the players for all of their hard work, respect and determination.'
U13 LL2 - Tournament Champions, Jake Marczenko Memorial Tournament
The U13LL2 team were triumphant in the Dorchester Jake Marczenko Memorial Tournament. The team was undefeated in all their games thanks to excellent goaltending and great cooperative work as a team unit. The main motivating factor may have been playing on the waterslide and pool in between games! A huge THANK YOU to all our awesome coaches, parents and Congratulations to the players for all of their hard work in coming together as a determined team!
U11 LL2 - Tournament Champions, Lefroy Icebreakers Hockey Tournament
It was such a privilege to watch our team, the U11 LL2 come together after narrowly losing their first game of the Lefroy IceBreakers Hockey Tournament that took place on Nov 24-26th. The team showed such determination to squeak out two very close victories advancing them to the semi-finals on the Sunday. To say that the parents and coaches Mark, Kirk, and Brett were biting their nails when we came from behind and won the semi-final game against the Barrie Red Wings in overtime would be an understatement and the celebration was epic. However, the finals would be no different, when once again, the kids showed pure heart to come from behind once again to beat the Oak Ridge Kings and win the Championship in overtime. The kids threw their gloves and sticks in the air, the parents cheered and the coaches had tears of joy in their eyes. We couldn’t be prouder of the team, Lochlan, Domenic, Liam, Jack, Benjamin, Austin, Carter, Rowan, Nova, Owen, Marshall, Jaxon, and Ayden. We are the Champions and the kids will not forget the excitement of this weekend for many many years.
