Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) Volunteer Letter:
A letter is required when you apply for a Police Vulnerable Sector Check. Please contact our Director of Risk Management
[email protected] for a personalized letter from the association identifying you as a volunteer. Take the letter and two (2) pieces of valid identification with you to the Orillia OPP Detachment.
You must submit the original PVSC in a sealed envelope to your designated Convenor or our Risk Management Director before you can officially be rostered.

Fee: Free for volunteers
Note: You must apply for a Police Vulnerable Sector check in the region in which you reside. If you reside in Oro-Medonte it is the OPP Detachment in ORILLIA.
*** If you are not a resident of Oro Medonte, you will need to attend the police station in your region with the Volunteer Letter and complete their Application form.
Criminal Offence Declaration - Yearly Requirement With a Valid Police Check On File with Association:
All rostered team staff must execute a Criminal Offence Declaration where there is a valid PVSC on file with the organization that is not more than 3 years old.
