FUNDRAISING POLICY
Board Approval Required
All team fundraising events must receive approval from the Board of Directors. Requests for approval must be submitted in writing and receive authorization from the Association’s board before the event takes place.
No Conflicts with Association Events: Fundraising events will not be approved if they conflict with Association-run events or sponsors. Please ensure that no commitments are made until your event has been duly authorized.
For the upcoming season, we want to emphasize that direct team sponsorship from any company is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Banners displaying the team name that include corporate sponsorship where funds have been collected from a person or company.
- Jerseys that display a company or person’s name as a result of funds collected from a person or company.
Teams are permitted to fundraise through activities such as bottle drives. However, please note that lottery-style activities and draws, particularly those involving alcohol, are strictly prohibited.
