How to Apply for a VSC (Oro Thunder Minor Hockey)

For NEW volunteers or those requiring a new Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Step 1: Complete the OHF Letter for VSC 

• Download a copy of the letter here.
• Fill the letter out with your information and save it down as a PDF.

Step 2: Apply for a VSC with the OPP 

• Complete the online application.
• When prompted, attach your completed OHF Letter.

As police services typically require 6-8 weeks to process VSC applications, we strongly encourage anyone needing to submit a VSC to begin the process as soon as possible.

Once you receive your completed VSC, you must submit it through the OHF Online Submission Portal (step 3 below) and complete the required declaration.

Step 3: Submit your VSC Receipt and/or completed VSC to the OHF

• Submit your VSC or receipt through the OHF Online Submission Portal and complete the declaration.
