Bantam LL2, 2012-2013 (Oro Thunder Minor Hockey)

Wow we had a Great start to our playoffs today. As we played the Coldwater Wildcats, it was kind of a slow start but we did start. The first goal was slow in coming. Once we started putting pressure on their goalie there was no stopping us. A great job done by all who showed up to play. Congratulations Team well done. Go Thunder Go

After having our game cancelled due to bad weather on last Sunday evening our game was rescheduled for Thursday night. Our team really played poorly , it looked like there was no effort from anyone. However we do have a celebration to tell everyone about. Faith got her very first Oro Minor Hockey Goal. A top shelf goal. Well done Faith. Go Thunder Go. See you at the Playoffs.

It was late Saturday afternoon. All was quiet at the Oro Arena, untill the Oro Thunder steped onto the ice. The team was playing Coldwater Wildcats. Coldwater struck first it was kind of scary, I was thinking  here we go again. However this was not the case. The Thunder struck back. Once the team started playing our game there was no stopping them. Three of our players each scored two goals. A fantastic effort from all of our lines.Great work team. Go Thunder Go

Finally WE WON. Great job Thunder. The team played in Coldwater this evening. The first period was fast moving, and Coldwater scored first. It was a little scary however we took a penalty and that seemed to wake up the team. After we tied up the score there was no looking back. The Thunder kept on Striking . If Coldwater was looking for a storm they found one. Great Job Team. GO THUNDER GO.

We really did just play this team last night. We handed Midland this game. We did play well. It is my opinion that we played in their end of the rink but never had any results to prove it. Midlands shots just went into the net. We could have been a stronger team today but thats how the cookie crumbles. We will try again next time. GO THUNDER GO

The Thunder played a great game against Midland. Both teams really played well. It was a back and forth game, We actually saw some improvments from our previous games. Great Job Thunder. We ended up not winning this game. But  we did have a better game than before.         GO THUNDER GO

The Oro Thunder played a much better game than the  one we watched in Elmvale. The game played in Midland was well played and much more entertaining. We actually showed some great offense during the first period. Our defence were playing well also. We need to play the body more. We have a lot of skilled players on our team , we just need to show everyone what we are capable of doing. Lets see what we can do in Collingwood.GO THUNDER GO
