Novice LL2, 2012-2013 (Oro Thunder Minor Hockey)

After a long 6 games, travelling between Oro and Elmvale, the boys did it.  Novice LL "B" Champions and fully deserved. Way to go - Alfie, Austin, Evan, Cole, Jacob, James, Jordan, Mitchell, Tanner, Theo, Ty, William and Coaches Ron and Toby.  What a fantastic year! You should all be very proud of yourselves.  Enjoy your Summer and see you back in the rink this fall.

I hear the roar of the THUNDER!!!! Way to go boys..back in action Game#6 Saturday.  Let's get em!

Last Saturday we headed to Elmvale a few of our regular players short, and we came up short with the 1st loss of this series.  But Sunday in Oro the boys gave their all and the game ended in a tie.   Friday night brought us back to Elmvale and the team was back together and ready to go and boy where they ready to go!!  What a team effort, everyone stepped it up...I must applaud all of you! We returned to Oro Saturday and they came out flying once again..but could not hold the lead and loss by 1 goal. Lets get em' Tuesday night back in Elmvale...looking forward to a great game. Lets go ...

Sunday took us back at home against Elmvale.  Elmvale started the scoring but we came right back to tie it up.  With great skating and many chances the boys came up short and it was a tough loss.  Back at it next weekend, vs. Wasaga.  Keep working hard!

Back to Midland we go.  Well this was an intense game.  Midland started the scoring, and we came right back to tie it up.    The skating and team playing continued into game 5, but Midland scored again and led 2-1 for quite a while...but two more goals by Oro, great win boys! Back at it tomorrow at home.  Rest up and we will see you all then!

Off of a tough lost in Midland, the boys had another in Oro.  They came out strong and continued for the whole game.  Great passing, great skating and overall playing as a team - and a winning team.  Great win 9-3!  4 down, 4 to go..see you all next weekend!
