Cambridge, Ontario – December 17, 2024 –The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has announced a series of updates to its Player Movement Regulations to enhance the participant’s experience and accessibility, effective for the 2025–2026 hockey season. Hello Thunder Families,

Our application to the OMHA for our Reorganization of the Oro and Orillia Rep programs was submitted. We have confirmed that it was accepted and has been transferred to OMHA lawyers for review. The OMHA will be having a Special Meeting reviewing all submissions in January.

Due to the incoming storm and for the safety and well being of our Thunder families, we have rescheduled picture day to Thursday December 19th.

Orillia Minor Hockey and Oro Minor Hockey continue to work together in our Reorganization of our Rep Programs.   We have submitted our application together to the OMHA for approval. This is expected at their next Board Meeting. We will provide further updates with more information as soon they are available.   We are continuing to move forward in anticipation that our Reorganization will begin for the 2025-26 Spring Evaluations and season.

Hello Thunder Families, Picture day has been scheduled for Thursday December 19th, upstairs at the Oro Arena. Full equipment (no skates, no helmet) RED AWAY JERSEYS!  Teams must be there 15 mins ahead of your time slot. One free team picture will be provided to every player.
