U11 B (Oro Thunder Minor Hockey)

We are currently accepting Coach Applications for the 2025-26 season. If you are interested in coaching next season, please complete the online application which can be found here:  2025/26 Coaching Application. We have extended the date for coaching applications until May 25th, 2025. Coaches selected will be interviewed in June for both Rep and LL. Successful candidates (Coaches) will be announced for Rep and LL no later than June 30th, 2025.

Hello Thunder Families, A reminder that the Oro Minor Hockey Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday April 27th at 7:00 pm in the Banquet Room at the Oro Arena. Registration on the website is requested to attend the meeting. We would like to invite all members of our Association to attend and recap the 2024/25 season and to ask questions or share concerns and new ideas.

Dave Gillespie was born and raised in Oro Station. He grew up playing Oro Minor Hockey and played on the Oro 77's. We as an Association are saddened to hear of his passing. Hockey was a life long passion for Dave. We are working on some ideas to memorialize Dave in our arena and we are planning to present this when our season starts in the fall.

Hello Thunder Families, Last Call for players that have not filled out the survey. Our hockey season has ended and the Oro MHA Executive Board is busy planning for next season and we would really appreciate your input.

What a year for Oro U18 LL3! This team didn’t just have a great season—they had an extraordinary one, finishing with an unbelievable 42-3 record! Their dominance didn’t stop there—they swept all three tournaments, finishing undefeated and taking home first place every time!  They completed their season being crowned Georgian Bay Champions!!

Oro U7 Team 2 completed a successful jamboree in Coldwater this weekend. The kids played hard and also got to spend the day together at the arena and they fit in some bowling across the street This was Oro U7 Team 2's last tournament of the year. Their development has come a long way since September and it was nice for the kids and parents to see all of their hard work paying off on and off the ice.  Way to go U7 Team 2 on a Fantastic Year! - Coaching Staff
