Orientation Day - Thunder Bolts

Hello Thunderbolt Families,
The start of Thunderbolts is approaching (FIRST SKATE SUNDAY OCT 19 @ 9AM) and we are excited to have your player join us this fall; below are a few key dates and details to consider at this time.
Orientation Day - Wednesday October 15 @ 5:30PM
- Location will be Guthrie Arena/Oro Community Centre located at Highway 11 and Line 4, which is home of the Oro Thunder and our Thunderbolts program.
- This is not a requirement, but strongly encouraged to ensure all our families, especially those new to hockey, can familiarize themselves with the arena before our first skate.
- I will gather everyone in the lobby @ 5:35PM sharp to introduce myself, review the process and steps of what to do when you arrive at the rink and then we will take a tour of the lobby, change rooms, ice area, etc..
- I'll show parents where to check-in on your first day, how to check the computer screen to find your change room, how to coordinate getting on and off the ice, what is needed for equipment, etc..
- The orientation will take approx. 20-30mins total for family planning requirements.
