Pilot Amalgamation Update
Oro Families,
As you are aware, Oro and Orillia Minor Hockey Associations have been engaged in conversations to reorganize our Representative Hockey programs. The goal was to offer our collective memberships unencumbered access to participate in AA (and below) hockey. Despite our best efforts to move forward and be ready for the 2024/25 season we have been informed by the OMHA to shift our focus to the following season. We have a strong foundation to support the reorganization and plan to continue moving forward provided the membership remains in favour. In terms of next steps, we will wait until the end of the current season and our AGM before re-engaging with Orillia and the OMHA. We are excited about the possibility of providing our players more development opportunities and will have more information available in the summer.
