Oro Hockey Families
Fair Booth Volunteers Needed

Once again Oro Minor Hockey will be having a booth at the Oro World’s Fair September 13th & 14th. It takes many volunteer hours to run this event, let’s make it a big Fundraiser for Oro Minor Hockey. As you all know, fundraising helps keep the cost of hockey down!

Volunteers are very important and imperative to this organization.  We are always looking for new people to join and help out. There is so much to do – fair booth set up, fair booth maintenance, picking up items pre-fair, BBQ, food sales, pizza pick up, clean up etc.

As with every year, OMH requires many volunteers to cover the food booth at the Oro Fair. We require volunteers during the day as well as evening, Friday & Saturday. The Oro Fair will be held on Sept. 13th & 14th

***Remember players from Bantam through Midget can do volunteer hours!! (This does not count towards the Oro Volunteer Bond hours) ***

*** Earn your Volunteer Bond Program credits too!! (4hrs, which is 2 – 2 hour shifts = 10 credits) All Volunteer Bond hours done!!! ***

Why not consider stepping up now  - you will meet great people and most importantly have FUN! You will be welcomed enthusiastically!!

Use the shareable Google sheets sign up – This is live sign up. Once you have committed to the time slot it updates the main schedule and reserves your time spot.

If you would like to sign up as a group with team parents or friends in Oro hockey please do so. We can’t reserve for teams, as teams will not be rostered at the time of the fair.  If you would like to take a lead role and organize for a certain division please feel free to do so. You can contact a group of parents you know and all get signed up together! I do encourage you to grab your friends, sign up together and have some fun!
