Tyke LL3, 2012-2013 (Oro Thunder Minor Hockey)

Well, well, well.....what a fabulous end to the season of hockey for Tyke 3! Although a couple practices remain as well as our Marlies trip, fun times were had by all this past weekend. To start it off on Saturday, the MOMS geared up to play the kids in a fun-filled game. Our goalie-

Tyke 3 travelled to Wasaga Beach today in the bright sunshine. The team showed lots of enthusiasm going into the game- with the Oro chant heard loud and clear in the lobby of the arena. The goalie for todays game was Jack- he had many saves on net and showed great determination to protect the net. All players are playing their positions well.....and NO OFFSIDES this game!?!?!? Way to go! Final score was 7-3 (L)- Devin got all 3 goals- HAT TRICK!!!!! 3 scheduled games left in the season- lets show them what we got Oro Tyke 3!

Oro Tyke 3 traveled to Elmvale for the first time this season to play their Tyke 3 team.  The goalie for the game was Devin. He blocked lots of shots on net and led Oro to the win!  All players for Tyke 3 showed great teamwork today. Final score was 3-1. Goals made by Callan and Tobin (2). Way to go!!!!

PENALTIES!!! That was the name of the game today!! The coaches asked for players to be more aggressive and that's what they got! Penalties today went to Cohen and Jack. In net, Sam showed he was a force to be reckoned with only allowing one goal- way to go! Final score was 4-1...a win for Tyke 3! Goals made by Myles (2) and Devin (2). Awesome game everyone!

Tyke 3 hosted Elmvale for the first time this season at home ice. Logan has waited for the chance to be goalie for a long time and today was his day! He did an amazing job in net and remained focused throughout the game. Great passing of the puck by offence and a strong defence made for a great game. In the end, Elmvale came out on top but that's okay- Tyke 3 always shows great sportsmanship. Final score was 5-2- Oro goals made by Tobin and Callan! Great work!

Wow...what an amazing weekend IP/Tyke tournament in Innisfil. Tyke 3 made it to yet another championship playoff game and brought their absolute best. Each and every player had a part in this success...

Today, Tyke 3 (white) had a rematch game vs. Tyke 2 (black). The kids knew they were up against a tough team but they were ready. An early morning practice got them all warmed up for the game so each player brought their A-game. The goalie for todays game was Erica.
