Last weekend in Review...
Well, well, well.....what a fabulous end to the season of hockey for Tyke 3! Although a couple practices remain as well as our Marlies trip, fun times were had by all this past weekend. To start it off on Saturday, the MOMS geared up to play the kids in a fun-filled game. Our goalie-
Sarah was a rockstar in net. Some moms that kissed the ice (with many parts of their body) included Ashley and Keri. Bruises were seen on Amy in the changeroom following the game. Stephanie was a real go-getter and dug hard to get the puck in the net! Sheryl was amazing on defence- it certainly runs in the family! Sue, Donna and myself were good sports and actually stayed upright the entire time- we didn't have too much momentum behind us, but we always had a smile on our faces! Special thanks to the siblings and one special drag queen dad for also helping out the Mom's team! Final score was 5-4, but who kept score anyways?!?!
Following the mom vs kids game, we all had good times, good laughs and good food at the Jarratt Hall-who knew the dads could actually pull this off?
As the kids were all warmed up from the mom/tyke game and played extremely well against their match in MacTier. Well played by all! Goalie was Owen. Goals made by: Cohen (2), Devin (2), Cohen. Final score was 5-3. Way to get the win!!!
On a personal note, I will miss this great group of parents and kids that we have spent the last few months with- great team dynamics! Special thanks to our awesome coaches, manager and training staff.
