BOOMERS TAKE FIRST GAME OF PLAYOFF SERIES
Boomers away game to Wasaga Beach results in 6-0 win for the first game of the playoffs.
In the first period after some great checks from the team to knock the Stars off the puck, Logan (Gretzky) got a hat trick.
Half way through the second period Quinn (Road Runner) dashed to the net, took a shot and it rebounded to Josh (Twohands) who passed it to David (Dagger David) resulting in his first goal of the Playoffs!!
In the third period Shaunce (Mad Dog) took a slapshot from the point, hit the goalie pads which bounced to Logan (Gretzky) and scored. Shortly after Shaunce (Mad Dog) kept the play alive at the blue line and Logan (Gretzky) received pass and scored the final goal of the game.
Ben (The Wall) put another notch on his belt of Shutouts. (8 notches)
The team took control of the game all the way from beginning to end. All players gave 100% and the Coaching staff is very proud not for the win but for the effort displayed by the whole team!
